The Kentucky Derby Festival is quickly approaching, and you can now begin bidding for a boat permit to park your boat on the Ohio River for the 2010 Thunder Over Louisville fireworks show. From the Waterfront Development Corporation:

Waterfront Development Corporation will auction individual boat permits for use during Thunder Over Louisville on April 17, 2010...A slip will be assigned to a successful bidder based on the amount of bid, size of vessel, and the date bid is received in the Waterfront Development office.

All bids must be received before March 1, 2010. For more information, visit the official announcement.
